Vodacom Business extends African network

Vodacom Business has extended its reach into Africa with an exciting development in Equatorial Guinea and Liberia.

Vodacom Business has extended its Pan-African IP-VPN network with the addition of two new Points of Presence (PoPs) in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, and Monrovia, Liberia.

With the new PoPs, we now have 42 international PoPs in 23 African countries. This means we have the footprint and connectivity capability to service our enterprise and wholesale customers across the continent.

Vodacom Business customers will now be able to expand the reach of their global and regional operations into these two countries without having to worry about connectivity, while focusing on how their distributed enterprise workforce can seamlessly operate in these emerging markets.

'The extension of the reach of our Global IP-VPN footprint by the addition of these new PoPs further reinforces our commitment to connect every major African city, thereby opening up possibilities to match our customers' business expansion ambitions,' said Wale Odeyemi, Vodacom Business Executive Head of Division.
