Catch up on Game of Thrones

Winter is here and Game of Thrones is back! Ahead of the new season, you can catch up on all you missed on Showmax.

Game of Thrones (fondly also known as GoT) returns on 17 July - a little later than its traditional April debut. For this you can thank a delayed winter in Scotland which held up shooting. While plot details have been scarce, we know that for the last two truncated seasons (only seven episodes each) we are going to see the final clash between the Starks, Lannisters, Targeryans, Greyjoys and other smaller houses.

GoT on Showmax

Obviously, the penultimate season of GoT is ALL anyone is going to be talking about. And if you don't want to miss out on all the chatter, you need to be up to speed. Fortunately, all six previous seasons of GoT are on Showmax, so you can refresh on the famously complicated plot, or watch it from the beginning.

If you need a bit of extra help, or a preview of the series, here's our (not too complex) recap of the story so far. Warning: spoilers!

And if you're a Vodacom customer, it's even easier to sign up to Showmax and binge watch your heart out!
