Showmax revamped its platform recently, switching to the streaming tools used by popular American streaming service Peacock TV. To go with the revamps, Showmax now offers a package that allows fans to livestream every English Premier League match.
The service also has Premier League highlights packages and other competition-related content. This package is only available for mobile devices and can’t be streamed on smart TVs or gaming consoles.

But DStv has now moved over to streaming services and offers two budget options called Compact and Compact+. Both packages cover the best local and international soccer leagues. However, they differ in which TV shows and channels they offer.

If Compact and Compact+ are the budget options, then premium, as the name suggests, is the package that will make all your sports viewing dreams come true. This package offers coverage of all of Mzansi’s favourite sports, including soccer, rugby, cricket, golf, and even motorsport. This sports offering is among 135+ channels of other content and if you want even more, you can add Showmax to your package at no extra cost.
