The Glasgow Warriors form the other half of Scotland’s only two professional rugby clubs alongside Edinburgh. Their Pro12 victory in the 2014-15 season made them the first Scottish rugby club to win a major trophy in the professional era of the game. They’ve also twice finished as runners-up in the Pro12 and Pro14. Their squad currently includes South Africans Oli Kebble, son of former Springbok Guy Kebble, and Kyle Steyn.
If you want to sound like a local: Mention your pride at being part of the Warrior Nation. That’s the official name for their fans.
What you didn’t know: One of their former players, the New Zealander Joe Naufahu, was an actor in Game of Thrones. His full name is actually Joseph Stalin, but that’s a story for another day.
