If you’ve lost your device or it’s been stolen, you can walk into any Vodacom store and walk out with a brand new phone, thanks to Vodacom’s Express Loss and Theft Claims approval process. Follow the usual procedure of blacklisting your device and reporting the incident to the police. Bring the affidavit along with you and make sure you know your cellphone and ID numbers.
As soon as your consultant has entered your details into the new Express Loss and Theft Claims system, they’ll be able to see whether you have an active insurance policy, if usage checks pass, whether you have blacklisted your phone and the status of your Vodacom account.
And that’s it! If all these details are in order, you’ll be able to select and order your new device – all within minutes.
