    Vodacom’s Maya Makanjee has successfully summited Kilimanjaro to raise money and demonstrate her passion for the Caring4Girls initiative.

    Vodacom’s Maya Makanjee has successfully summited Kilimanjaro to raise money and demonstrate her passion for the Caring4Girls initiative.

    Vodacom Chief Officer: Corporate Affairs Maya Makanjee, along with a group of leaders and celebrities, has successfully reached the top of Kilimanjaro as part of the Trek4Mandela campaign in support of Caring4Girls.

    Vodacom has chosen, through its Vodacom Foundation, to wholeheartedly back the Caring4Girls initiative which focuses on keeping underprivileged girls in school during their menstrual cycle. Sadly, because of lack of access to feminine hygiene products and the stigma surrounding their monthly cycles, many girls miss up to 50 days of school a year completely unnecessarily.

    Vodacom provides coverage all the way to Mount Kilimanjaro, and Maya captured her journey with her new Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, sponsored by Sony. Take a look at some of the highlights below.
