Recharge safely & securely with Vodacom Express Recharge

Vodacom Express Recharge is the easiest way to buy airtime, direct from Vodacom.

Tired of trekking to the shops to buy airtime vouchers? There's good news! You can recharge quickly, safely and securely directly from your phone using your credit or debit card. All you have to do is register for Vodacom Express Recharge.

Vodacom Express Recharge allows customers to register a credit or debit card with Vodacom via USSD so you can purchase airtime directly from Vodacom. This saves you the hassle of having to travel to your nearest retailer to purchase a physical voucher.

You don’t need a smartphone and special app - you buy airtime, data or SMS bundles on USSD. It’s that easy!

Benefits of Vodacom Express Recharge

This service is safe and secure, as you're required to enter your ATM pin to authorise any purchase made on the platform. This reduces the risk of fraud and ensures peace of mind when purchasing online.

There’s no need to register separately with your bank: pay with your Absa, Standard Bank, Capitec, Bidvest, Postbank, VBS or Nedbank debit or credit cards. Plus, you can change the card you want to pay with as many times as you like.

The Vodacom Express Recharge service is available to Prepaid, Top Up and uChoose customers. Vodacom customers who are currently on contract are able to purchase for Prepaid customers as well. A daily airtime purchase limit of R1 000 has been put in place, along with a limit of R500 per transaction. The service is offered in conjunction with some of South Africa's largest banks, such as Absa, Nedbank, Standard Bank and Bidvest.

Recharge wherever and whenever - it’s so convenient!

How much does it cost?

Using *135*02# is FREE.

You only pay the cost of the airtime, data bundle or SMS bundle that you buy, and associated bank charges for using your card, if applicable. Money is deducted directly from your registered credit or debit card.
