Vodacom RED VIP recently gave a number of their Diamond Club members a money-can’t-buy experience, with a curated shopping extravaganza in association with SA Fashion Week.
SA Fashion Week annually hosts the SA Fashion Week Designer Pop-Up Shop, where designers from around South Africa are given a platform to sell their latest ready-to-wear collections to the public. The event was held at the Mall of Africa in Johannesburg from 26 to 28 November 2020.
As a partner to SA Fashion Week, Vodacom RED VIP gave their Diamond Club members an exclusive preview of the breath-taking collections on show on Tuesday, 24 and Wednesday, 25 November.
Each guest was collected from their home in a personalised luxury vehicle and delivered to the Vodacom Red carpet at the Mall. What followed was a series of surprise and delights, from gift boxes containing bespoke Gert-Johan Coetzee collections, spending money for the perfect outfit all in sustainable shopping bags from Artclub & Friends. Each client had their own dedicated fashion stylist to put together their personal curated look for summer.
In addition to wonderful hospitality, guests were treated to one-on-one exchanges with a number of South Africa’s favourite lifestyle celebs including Gert-Johan Coetzee, Maps Maponyane, celebrity chef, Lorna Maseko, model Thameena Saint and Tik Tok sensation, Whitney.
At the end of the evening, guests were taken home with armfuls of shopping from some of SA’s hottest designers like Rubicon, JJ Schoeman, and Franc Ellis to up-and-coming newbie, Boyd, who was overall winner of the Scouting Menswear Designer competition at this year’s SAFW TenTwentyTwenty collections.
