The coolest phones from MWC 2016

Feast your eyes on some of the hottest new phones announced at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) is one of the biggest tech events of the year, setting the stage for what's coming up in the months ahead.

While not all manufacturers launched devices at MWC, most of the big names did. Here's a look at some of the exciting new smartphones that were showcased.

Please note: local availability and pricing is not confirmed.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now water resistant!

The LG G5 features a striking modular design that you can customise using detachable extras like camera grips and batteries.

Alcatel has dropped OneTouch in its name and released two stunning new flagships: the Idol 4 and idol 4s. Its packaging also transforms into VR goggles!

The CAT S60 is waterproof in 5 metres of water for an hour and resilient to drops of 1.8 metres, thanks to its special case. But the S60 has an extra trick: an on-board thermal imaging camera.

Plug the HP Elite X3 into its dock, which is connected to a screen and peripherals, and it will transform into a Windows 10 PC.
