With most of us stuck at home and having to practise social distancing these days, Netflix Party might be just the ticket.

With most of us stuck at home and having to practise social distancing these days, Netflix Party might be just the ticket. Netflix now allows users to host or join a Netflix Party, where you get to watch movies and shows together with friends and family at different locations with a live group chat.

How to host a Netflix Party with friends

  • Step 1: Visit netflixparty.com 
  • Step 2: Tap on ‘Get Netflix Party for free’.
  • Step 3: You will be directed to a Google Chrome extension page. Select ‘Add extension’.
  • Step 4: Now open a new tab in Chrome, login to your Netflix account and select the movie or show you want to watch.
  • Step 5: Tap on the red ‘NP’ icon on the top-right corner.
  • Step 6: Copy the link in the pop-up and send it to people you want to invite to the party.

Users can simply tap on the link to join the party. Now all that’s left to do is to grab some snacks and enjoy your own Netflix Party!
