South Africa’s most empowered telecommunications company, Vodacom, has unveiled Vodacom NXT LVL (pronounced Next Level) – a youth brand aimed at South African Youth under the age of 25.

Using feedback from young South Africans from different walks of life, Vodacom NXT LVL addresses what South African youth feel will be key to their success.
Here's how Vodacom aims to do this:
- Data-centric bundles that empower them to harness the power of the internet, via *135*128#
- Access to education and career resources to help them achieve success through the likes of zero-rated Vodacom NXT LVL e-school, Vodacom NXT LVL career site, and Vodacom NXT LVL discover.
- To inspire and nurture their desire to succeed, it's important that we enable and profile youth who take their talent to the NXT LVL. Vodacom NXT LVL kicks off with a soccer talent search campaign, giving budding soccer players between the ages of 14 and 16 the opportunity to be coached and mentored by two of South Africa’s best loved legends, Mark Fish and Lucas Radebe. At the end of the search, the winning team will be awarded with an education scholarship to Tuks Sports High School.
The NXT LVL soccer talent search
To participate in the talent search, all hopefuls will need to showcase their soccer skills by uploading their videos on the NXT LVL portal, or attending Vodacom NXT LVL activations around the country. Their friends, family and South Africa will be able to view, vote and share in their journey to success.
The launch of Vodacom NXT LVL and the soccer talent search form part of a shared vision across the organisation and among the business leadership team to live our brand purpose of ensuring all South Africans are confidently connected.
