Vodacom has introduced uncapped fibre-to-the-home packages through specific third-party network operators.

New providers
Vodacom already provides over 31,000 homes and businesses with its own fibre infrastructure and now offers FTTH via third-party infrastructure networks. This strategy increases time to market for Vodacom, as they are able to utilise the existing infrastructure of networks that have already been established.
Vodacom recently signed agreements with two new third-party network infrastructure providers – SADV and Metrofibre Networx. In September, Vodacom announced that it had signed lease agreements with Fibrehoods, Openserve, Century City Connect, Openserve and Dark Fibre Africa to deliver Vodacom Fibre products. Through these providers Vodacom customers have access to Vodacom Fibre Broadband, Vodacom Fibre Fixed Voice and Value Added Services.

Vodacom Fibre Packages
Please note that the Vodacom Fibre Broadband product offering & monthly subscriptions differs per network infrastructure provider. However, the subscription per product on the same network infrastructure provider is the same across all contract duration options with varying once-off charges. The once-off charge for all 12-month contracts is R499 (incl VAT) and R999 for all month-to-month contracts. There is no once-off charge for 24-month contracts.
UPDATE: As of 2019, Vodacom provides over 50,000 homes with their own fibre infrastructure.
