IIT is an IT consultant, sales and service company with a unique specialisation in IT solutions and products. It was established with the sole mandate of becoming one of the leading information technology houses in South Africa and its neighbouring countries.

Founded in May 2002, IIT has grown in leaps and bounds. One of the challenges it has had to overcome is changing customers’ mindsets about digital transformation and innovation. As a beneficiary of the Innovator Trust’s Enterprise Development Programme, managing member Maria Motau continues to encourage South African entrepreneurs to be aware of and embrace the rapid rate of technology and innovation. This academic programme for SMMEs has played an integral part in Maria’s life as an entrepreneur and has expanded her knowledge in business operations and increased her confidence levels immensely. Maria is now part of the Innovator Trust’s Enterprise Development Programme (ED) and aspires to grow as a formidable businesswoman.

IIT continues to gain an excellent reputation countrywide as a 100% black-owned economic empowerment company, with Maria being a 90% shareholder. Not only has the company focused on providing its broad spectrum of clients with quality sales, support and service for all computers and networking equipment, but they also continue to emphasise customer satisfaction.
