One of South Africa’s most sought-after DJs, producers and radio presenters, Euphonik has scaled the ranks to become a household name. Fun and ambitious, Euphonik is currently at the cutting edge of the house music scene in South Africa.
Metro FM and SAMA Award nominee Zinhle Jiyane, aka DJ Zinhle, stepped onto the South African DJ scene at a time when it was still very much a man’s world. This talented lady quickly managed to turn some heads with her crazy skills on the decks. She even grabbed the attention of some of Mzansi’s most respected DJs, such as DJ Oskido, and has today become one of the best female house DJs in SA.
Riky Ricks's story began at a recording session with Bongani Fassie, who inspired him to write and produce his own music. Since then he has released hit after hit, including his first single 'Nafukwa', and 'Amantombozane' which featured top SA recording artists including OkMalumkoolKat, Maggz, Kwesta and Ginger Bread Man. His major debut single 'Boss Zonke' has since peaked at number three on the SA Hip-Hop Top Ten list.
In a world of throwaway pop, where idols come and go, an artist who has stood the test of time is undoubtedly Danny K. Best known for his SAMA award-winning hits, his extensive charity work and non-profit organisation SHOUT, which he co-founded in 2007, Danny continues to reinvent himself in the public eye, appealing to even the toughest audiences.
Big Nuz is a well-known and highly celebrated Durban-based kwaito group. The name Big Nuz is taken from two ideas that define the band. 'Big' relates to their aim of taking kwaito to new heights across the continent and, ultimately, the globe. There's nothing small about this band! 'NUZ' are the letters on number plates of cars registered in Umlazi township in Durban.
