How to Use the VodaPay App to Manage Data Usage 

The best thing about managing data usage through the VodaPay app is that it’s easy even if you’re not a techy person. Here is what to do:

- Login to the app. 

- You’ll immediately see your current data balance on your personal dashboard. But there’s more. 

- Tap “My account” and then “Detailed Data Usage”. Here, you can see how much mobile data you used yesterday, in the last week, in the last month, or in a period of your choosing. You can also see which apps are using the most data. 

How to Top Up On Data in the VodaPay App 

Once you’ve tracked your data usage, you may need a top-up – you have options.

Who do you want to buy for? 

Go to “Buy” on your dashboard. At the top, you’ll see “I’m buying for”. You can select yourself or add another Vodacom phone number.  

What do you want to buy? 

You can choose a general data bundle (be sure to look out for great deals available through the VodaPay app!) or you can choose an app-specific bundle based on your data usage. Under “Buy”, select “Social Bundles” to get data specifically for WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or streaming.  

How much do you want to spend? 

Whether you just need a little top-up to get you to the end of the month or you want a big data bundle to hot-spot yourself while you work remotely for a week, you’ll find it in the VodaPay app. Stuck without data and just need to send a text quickly? You can spend as little as R1 for a 10MB WhatsApp-specific data bundle.
