Introducing Vodacom Ticket

Get up to four times the value on data for social media, video, music and gaming with Vodacom Ticket.

When it comes to data, we all want the most bang possible for our buck. That’s why Vodacom has introduced Vodacom Ticket, bundles that get you connected to the websites and services you love best, at the best possible price.

How does it work?

Buying your Vodacom Ticket is so simple - dial *123# from your Vodacom phone and select the Ticket you want based on the website you want to access, and the amount of time and megabytes. You can pick between Hourly, Daily or even Weekly Tickets.

Prices start at just R3 for an Hourly Ticket - that’s less than the price of a chocolate bar, and it’s a whole lot more fun.

For now, it’s available only Prepaid and Top Up customers - contract customers should watch this space, as Ticket will be rolled out for them soon!

Which websites can I access?

There are four kinds of Ticket: Gaming, Music, Video and Social, and they’re each valid for different websites. Check out the table below to see which they are.

Remember you may still need to pay subscription to access certain websites, such as Netflix and DStv Now. And while Facebook is covered by your Social Ticket, Facebook Messenger isn’t.

It’s also important to note that if you click out of a website, you’ll revert to your normal data plan. For example, if you click on a link in Facebook that takes you to News24 or any other website, you’ll be charged to surf on that website.
