Vodacom Now!

Tired of being tied down to whatever's on TV? Then you need a convenient streaming service that won't gobble your data, with a simple subscription you can change anytime. With Video Play from Vodacom, you can catch awesome movies, like Hollywood superhero blockbuster Deadpool 2 starring the hilarious Ryan Reynolds.

What is Video Play?

Vodacom Video Play is an app that allows you to watch the latest blockbuster movies, series, kids shows and music videos.

That’s not all - you can also enjoy access to a variety of local and international subscription content such as Nollywood and Bollywood movies, and Health and Fitness, Faith and Religion content, and much more.

You can access Video Play on most devices - the service is available on and compatible with smartphones, tablets and desktops.

How do I watch Video Play?

You can rent Hollywood blockbusters to stream or download without a subscription - just select the movie you want from the Blockbuster section, complete your purchase and select 'Stream' or 'Download to your device'. The movie is then available for 48 hours for you to watch as many times as you like.

You’re able to view your active and expired purchases in the My Library section where rental and subscription purchases are separated for your convenience. Video Play also remembers the progress of your recently streamed content across devices. This means you can start streaming on one device, then pick up where you left off on another device under your registered profile.

How much does Video Play cost?

Video Play’s flexible daily, weekly and monthly subscriptions are specifically designed to suit both your needs and your pocket. The best part about this is that none of the subscriptions are recurring, so you don’t have to worry about ongoing charges.

Video Play can simply be added to your Vodacom bill, or deducted from your airtime if you're on Prepaid. It's currently only available in South Africa, to Vodacom Prepaid, Top Up and Contract subscribers.

How do I get Video Play?

You can access the service and register via the Video Play website, or by downloading the Video Play app via the Vodacom App Store, Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
