Shop winter’s hottest trends

Fashion journalist, stylist, designer and Instagrammer Rufaro Fanadzo (@rufarofanadzo) tells us what winter trends to look out for.

1. Maximalism

This season, maximalism takes centre stage. We are all about playing with silhouettes, colour and texture. Animal print has made a major comeback. Make a statement with an animal print coat, shoe or handbag. Break up the colours with a metallic or bright-coloured feature. We are loving metallic and mustard coloured jackets.

2. Beret

Whether it’s the French influence or the spirit of rebellion, the beret has become a key feature in our favourite style stars' outfits. Looking chic and hiding a bad hair day has never been easier.

3. Checks

For autumn/winter 2018, the catwalks were awash with the geometric print across every kind of item. Be bold by layering the print in a suit or making it a focal point by wearing one item with the print like a pair of trousers.
