2019 has seen some exciting smartphone releases with promising features. But which devices have proven to be the best of this year so far?

We’ve seen a number of major smartphone releases and interesting new trends this year, but when there are so many devices to choose from, how can you decide which is the best?

We’ve lined up some of the best smartphone releases of 2019 so far...

Huawei P30 Pro

The Huawei P30 Pro not only brought consumers an amazing camera and great design, but also powerful hardware and a sturdy battery that makes it one of the best flagships of 2019.

The P30 Pro is a pioneer of photography that dares to impress. The Leica Quad Camera System accommodates your photography to help see the world in its entirety. Samsung Galaxy S10

The Samsung Galaxy S10, released in March, still holds its place as one of the best smartphones of the year. While the S10+ offers users more battery, storage, and an extra camera lens; the S10 offers the same great main camera setup and fast chipset at a lower price point.

The camera is the phone’s most impressive feature, but the lightweight design and stellar display make it an amazing phone overall.

LG G8S ThinQ

The LG G8S ThinQ is an exciting phone that offers quality hardware and features at a mid-range price.

The phone’s stand-out feature is that it offers a new way to interact with it. You can unlock it with Hand ID (palm vein recognition), 3D Face Unlock or fingerprint recognition. Plus, you can control the phone using Air Motion touchless commands.

This five-camera phone allows you to shoot super-wide (137 degrees), telephoto (2X optical zoom) and standard photos without colour distortion, while the front-facing camera is supported by a Z Camera (3D depth sensor) that adds extraordinary depth and resolution to your selfies. Watching videos is a pleasure on this immersive device with its 6.21” FullHD+ OLED Display and a DTS:3D Real Stereo Sound speakers tuned by Meridian. Overall, the LG G8S ThinQ packs a bunch of great flagship features that make it really attractive at its price point.

While Samsung’s premium devices get the most attention, the company also has a great mid-range lineup. 2019 saw the launch of the Galaxy A50, a device that brings the premium feel of Samsung to a more affordable market segment.

The A50 packs in a triple-lens main camera setup, including a 25MP lens. It also comes with a 25MP front-facing selfie camera, an impressive 4000mAh battery and 4GB of RAM.
