Everything you need to know in 2017
Player line-ups have changed and the team jerseys are different, but Vodacom Super Rugby is still the top professional rugby tournament in the world. Six South African sides, the Vodacom Bulls, Emirates Lions, DHL Stormers, Toyota Cheetahs, Cell C Sharks and Southern Kings, will take on the challenge and show their mettle against teams from New Zealand, Australia, Argentina and Japan.

Conferences
Here are the four conferences that will battle for the title in 2017.

Heads Up: This year there will be matches on Thursdays and Sundays, so schedule your braais accordingly. Each team will play 15 matches throughout the season (with two byes), ahead of the playoffs. The top four teams in each conference will automatically qualify for the playoffs, with the top three teams from the Australasian group and the top team from the South African group qualifying as wildcards.
