The illustrator: Lorenzo Plaatjies

Twenty-five year old illustrator and developer Lorenzo Plaatjies is best known for his 'sad boy' illustrations, that show faces of longing and loneliness against a beautiful background. In all his work, Lorenzo channels his emotions. His illustrations paint an honest picture of his heartfelt feelings.

The Designer: Daisie-Jo Grobler

Fashion designer, illustrator and creative director Daisie Jo Grobler is fast making a name for herself in the creative industry. Her dream has always been to create. See how she's making her world beautiful. 

The Game Developer: Bahiyya Kahn

Game developer, Bahiyya Khan is a strong advocate for marginalised groups. The games she has created aim to raise awareness around issues facing women of colour, and other hot topics you wouldn't normally hear about in the gaming world. The 23-year-old says the only way to change some of society’s biggest problems is through education and that’s why she’s making gaming an educational tool and an emotional outlet.
