Vodacom supports LGBT 🌈

Vodacom are proud to announce their participation in the Cape Town Pride event 🌈

Vodacom prides itself on diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all their employees and customers are treated fairly and with respect. It is for this reason that Vodacom has formed a newly established Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) and friends Network that encourages not only members of the LGBT community that work within Vodacom, but friends of the LGBT community to join and be involved with matters related to the LGBT community as a whole.

I am very excited to have been elected as the first chairperson of this network and would encourage any members of the LGBT community within Vodacom to join us as we put Vodacom’s brand out there with the best who support LGBT movements. The community will seek to get involved in various volunteer activities directly or indirectly that are associated with the LGBT community of South Africa as a whole. - Kyle Smith, Vodacom Product Manager

Vodacom are proud to announce that they will be taking part in the very first Pride event in Cape Town on 4 March 2017. Vodacom will also be doing some volunteer work on the Friday preceding the event, 3 March 2017, at the Cape Town Pride Shelter, where staff members will be planting vegetable gardens for the shelter and the people it assists.
